The Affordable Connectivity Program
Overview: The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) program that replaces the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBB Program) to help low-income households pay for internet service.
The benefit provides up to a $30/month discount for broadband services.
Households are eligible if one member of the household has the following:
- Participates in Lifeline program
- Has a household income at or below 200% of federal income
- Received Federal Pell Grant in current award year
- Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program 2021-22 school year
- Participates in WIC Program for Woman, Infants, Children Nutritional program
- Participates in Government Lifeline:
- Medicaid
- SNAP
- Federal Public Housing Assistance
- Veterans and Survivors Pension benefits
Please apply at:
https://acpbenefit.org/ to submit an application and upload documents, after getting approved, please call your local provider, give them your application ID and they will enroll you into the ACP benefit.

Please Note:
- Only one monthly service discount is allowed per household.
- Consumers can begin applying for and enrolling in the Affordable Connectivity Program on January 1, 2022.

You may be eligible for a discount on your monthly telephone service if you receive assistance from one of the following programs:
- Medicaid
- Federal Public Housing Assistance
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Supplemental Nutritional Assistance (SNAP aka Food Stamps)
- Non-Service-Related Veterans Disability Pension / Veterans Surviving Spouse Pension
- Meeting the Financial Eligibility Requirements of 135% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines
Persons who are eligible to receive benefits from one or more of the programs listed above but are not currently receiving benefits from that program.
